The Hatfield's and McCoy's are back at it again but this time they're having fun instead of feuding. The Hatfield McCoy Reunion Festival will be celebrating its 9th anniversary in Matewan and Williamson, West Virginia and Pikeville Kentucky. The festival will include a variety of activities, events and free entertainment suitable for the whole family.
- There will be several free concerts throughout the weekend.
- You'll also get to meet Devil Anse Hatfield and ole Ranel McCoy, the leaders of the feuding clans, in a live dramatic presentation about the world famous Hatfield McCoy Feud.
- We're gonna put away our shootin' irons and settle this feud like civilized folks - with a rope. Come watch descendants of the two feuding families go at it again in this contest of strength and endurance - winner take all - and if you're a member of one of the families you can get in on the Tug-of-War yourself.
- come ride the biggest and best network of ATV trails east of the Mississippi. Bring your own vehicle or rent one from several local vendors. Guided tours are also available. This is fun for the whole family with trails for beginners, experienced riders and the truly hard core.
