The 11th Annual
Hatfield McCoy Reunion Festival June 11,12 & 13th 2010

The Hatfield's and McCoy's are back at it again but this time they're having fun instead of feuding. The Hatfield McCoy Reunion Festival will be celebrating its 11th anniversary in Matewan and Williamson, West Virginia and Pikeville Kentucky. The festival will include a variety of activities, events and free entertainment suitable for the whole family.

Williamson Events

Free Concerts - There will be several free concerts throughout the weekend beginning on Saturday.

1:00PM Josh Adair - Josh is a "hometown" boy from Matewan, WV whose smooth southern voice is sure to be a crowd pleaser. www.myspace.com/joshcountry

The Devil and Ranel McCoy - Friday - 6:00 PM You'll also get to meet Devil Anse Hatfield and ole Ranel McCoy, the leaders of the feuding clans, in a live dramatic presentation about the world famous Hatfield McCoy Feud.

Appalachian Storytelling -Saturday 2:00 PM - Lend an ear as Sonya "Hatfield" Hall spins the yarn with tales of legend and lore.

Good Eats and Fun Treats -All day Saturday - We'll be serving up what's left of Ranel McCoy's "stolen" hog along with traditional festival fare.

Children's activities are set to include: a Kid's Fun Run (3:00PM - Saturday), face painting, balloons, and carnival games.

Matewan Events

Hatfield McCoy Marathon

Marathon runners will be arriving in town beginning at 8:00am with awards to be given beginning at 11:00am

Street Vendors & Live Music All Day

Various Vendors will be selling their wares in the streets all day. Music will feature the Jaguars at 12:00pm and Josh Addair at 5:00pm

2:00PM -Hillbilly Wedding - Old time hillbilly shotgun wedding with all the trimmings. Complete with reception on the front steps of City Hall.

4:00PM Tug O' War - 10 Hatfield descendants & 10 McCoy descendants battle it out over the Tug River.

1:00PM Kids Run /span>

Hatfield McCoy Trails - come ride the biggest and best network of ATV trails east of the Mississippi. Bring your own vehicle or rent one from several local vendors. Guided tours are also available. This is fun for the whole family with trails for beginners, experienced riders and the truly hard core. www.trailsheaven.com
